I have the same problem debugging LyX on X-terminals (though it never
happens on PC-Linux or Sun-Solaris workstations). I did manage the debug
using 2 terminals, one for the LyX window and one for the debugger.
(setenv DISPLAY other_term:0.0 ; gdb lyx).
Does anyone know why this happens? How to prevent this?
