Hi Bennett,
If it can be of any help have placed a 10.4 compilation of LyX 1.5.5
on PPC at:
http://homepage.mac.com/anek/Temp/FileSharing24.html
Unfortunately I don't have any 10.4 installation on an Intel Mac...

have you seen this (but I don't know if it helps):
<http://lists.trolltech.com/qt-interest/2007-12/msg00465.html>
I did. One thing it suggests is:
When you build Qt, make sure you use the -sdk
/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk as one of the parameters to
configure.
I saw elsewhere that this doesn't matter, and I wasn't eager to
recompile
Qt, especially if it's not clear that would help. (Should it?)
I have now tried this; it doesn't work, and I'm out of other ideas.
So I am
stuck and unable to produce the Mac binaries for anything but Mac OS
X 10.5.
Unless someone else can help, I will post those binaries, but I can
guarantee lots of unhappy users. Stefan? Jean-Marc? Anyone?
