Here is some suggestion:
- the preview dialog does not have to be so big by default. I know,
there are some items with abstract etc, but a vertical scrollbar will
be sufficient for those.
In what I'm seeing, it's wide, but not very tall. Anyway, the preview
only uses selected fields: author, title, etc.
Eventually, I'd like this to vary for different kinds of entries. So
you'd get one thing for articles, and another thing for
incollection-type entries. In that case, one could do what BibTeX does
and check the crossref field for additional info; so you could have the
year, then, and not just "No Year". And none of that should be hardcoded
but instead should be configurable via layout-like files.
- it would be nice if we could tile down with the mouse each of the
'Preview', 'Search' and 'Formatting' sections. The session info would
remember the states of those subwindws. Don't know if this is easily
achievable.
I didn't quite understand this. What do you mean "tile down with the mouse"?
