I noticed that my 10-part commit of merges to branch didn't generate massive cvs-log messages. I wonder if it'd be worth setting that value lower than it is now. Anything over 2---maybe even anything over 1---probably doesn't need to go to the list, I'd guess, as these are usually po updates, remerges, and the like. And they can always be read on trac if need be.
