i think that there is something wrong with a table if it doesn't fit on
one page
...
that being said ;-) others seem to like it and the line stuff i added
broke the caption bit so i felt obliged to repair it even though it was
a hack in the first place
i must say that the longtable ui stinks (is it really possible to use it
without reading the longtable documentation?)
