the list of changes in branch has grown silently in the shadow of the more noticeable and attracting work on 1.6.0. Even though we do not have any real urgent fixes (which might indicate that the 1.5 series is pretty stable now), I consider releasing 1.5.5 soon, since we have some real UI improvements, and if only since it makes 1.5 usable with Qt4.4, which will be released soon as well. Looking at bugzilla, I do not see any really important open issue. We do have these two things pending: 2457 tex2lyx doesn't import \textcolor commands 2820 .desktop file for LyX If patches appear in time, these will be considered. Anything else?
