I suspect it's because of the sticky bit of:
ls -ld /home/lyx/www/pmwiki/
drwxrwsr-x 13 lyx wiki 4096 Apr 17 14:02 /home/lyx/www/pmwiki/
so... where should we store the passwords file then? Create a subdirectory
that has 'svnusers' as group and has a sticky bit?
