Hi!

How is the tab key bound to the completion function? I don't see it anywhere in the bind files...

My problem is this: in tables, Tab is already bound to cell-forward (in site.bind, which is hardcoded to be read --- in two places, no less: Lyx::init and PrefShortcuts::apply), but now with the completion code, Tab is not doing cell-forward anymore --- I'm guessing because it now does completion.

IMO, Tab should remain cell-forward --- it's quite standard, and Shift-Tab still does cell-backward. OTOH, Tab for completion, while standard in the shell, is not, I think, standard in editors (vim uses Ctrl-p, emacs uses Alt-\ if I remember correctly?). So I think it would be better if LyX would adopt a different key-binding for completion, and keep the Tab as cell-forward.

Thanks!
Dov
