Interesting. I also use MAC. 1.5.3. I just checked again and that's what
happens... Do you have 1.5.4?

In fact, there's acouple of problems with my version:

1. Open Lyx. Open two files. Open new window. The new window comes with the
two files already open. Close a file in the second window using the 'x'
button. The same file is closed on the first window.

2. Now we have the same file open in each window. Open a new file from the
menu or by double-clicking in the Finder. The file opens in the active
window. Click on the other window. The same file suddenly pops up in it.
