  No. It is implicit since it follows the same structure of the lyx lexer.
Sometimes the new lines are ignored, like when a paragraph is broken in 
several lines in the lyx files, but there are situations where the the new 
lines are significant.

  Notice that this is precisely the reason why you had to normalize the code 
to start an InsetSpace in a new line.

  This is also the trend that we have been following a more regular syntax 
since the demise of the 2.15 file format (that I compare to a hydra).

  I have not documented this behaviour because my hope goes to the xml file
