Current CVS (last friday) will NOT compile with gcc-2.95.2

so it seems that whoever was having trouble with 2.95, this also applies
to latest stable gcc. Unfortunately it seems on gcc list that there will
be no 2.95.3 (or 2.96), so LyX currently won't compile for a large
majority of Linux users :(
 
Is it possible to work around this ?
