As soon as possible, I'll begin the update of the french translation of 
the documentation.
But in order to be able to do that I need to have a working 1.6 version 
on one of my computers.
The problem is I need a stable version of LyX for my work. I have a 
1.5.4 version working on my Windows XP installed with the standard 
installer.
My question is : can I install a 1.6 without any perturbation of my 
1.5.4. One more point : I can't compile it, so I must use one of the 
installers ...
Jean-Pierre suggested to use the altInstaller in the small version ... 
is it a good solution ?
