Hum, in principle you should get a dialog saying "Inset::buffer_ member not initialized!", do you? This one should be easy to fix in any case (InsetMathHull::setBuffer() is missing somewhere).
FYI, we did a pretty big change in the code (buffer reference inside inset) so trunk is going to be unstable for a few days.
