I've cleaned up a bit more the code so that this should be very

It's always been true on Mac that attempting to launch LyX.app when
LyX.app is already running simply switches to the running app.
However, when LyX.app is running and I attempt to launch
LyX-1.5svn.app, I get a new instance. I haven't noticed that anything
has changed recently.
