I believe that once I get some user feedback, some tweaking will be
necessary; and there are still some follow up fixes which I'll try to
get to. But the basic functionality is now in, and works well enough
that that I would now like to get feedback from (bidi) users. I'll post
a message to the users' list once I commit.
