I have forwardported this to trunk, because the branch patch got intensive testing from Koji Yokota and Uwe, and seems to work very well. The branch version is postponed to 1.5.4 nevertheless. Until then, we might find remaining problems in trunk. Note that CJK output is currently generally broken because of bug 4413: http://bugzilla.lyx.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4413 This is completely independent from my changes. Jürgen
