That's why i'm asekd for ideas. I would like to have a more generic solution to save 5 different lists, but don't know how to do this. The solution I have is the only one that came into my mind.
Otherwise, are you confident that you know enough about the different language options to alias all of them to a common value ?
The French version was already there so I started to check the babel sources what is a valid babel option and what not. According to this I merged the different Hebrew languages, etc. But I'll check again this evening to assure this is correct. Without the merge you get errors.
