Not really. But I think this harfbuzz stuff was new in 4.2 (not sure...
4.2 was before and after 'my time', depending from where you look).
Screen shots would help to raise awareness, though.

PS: If I am not mistaken Qt 4.4's Designer might be more compatible to
4.1's then the 4.3 Designer. Just a rumour, though...
