OK, I've followed Qt doc advice and switched to a solution that should
work under any Window manager (using setSize() and setPos() instead of
restoreGeometry()).
It appears that there is absolutely _no_ way to satisfy every WM WRT the
different modes of maximization... We should aim to satisfy at least KDE
3.X users and whatever Gnome WM is.
