Wasn't there supposed to be a lyx.stable.gz or lyx.latest.gz link on the ftp
site that links to the latest stable tar? Speaking of which, the web site
should be linking to 1.1.5fix1 right now.
Actually, I think we should set up index.php3 to automatically link to the
latest version (and mention what it is). It's pretty easy, right - we just
split the number, then look for the highest major number, minor number,
minorminor number, and fix number (if any). Once we switch to the new
numbering system, it'll be even easier. We would still want to have a
lyx.latest.gz at the ftp site, in case people don't go there from the web,
but it would make it less of a problem if lars forgot to update the
lyx.latest softlink for a while.
Sound like a good idea?
