Make a table with lots of columns, so it is wider than the visible area. Move the cursor to the right in this table.
Expected behaviour: LyX should sidescroll in new columns now and then. What happens: LyX sidescrolls in new columns now and then. This brings in a little more table than really needed, but that is fine. It is nice not to get a jump on _every_ cursor movement. But sometimes it sidescrolls back a little too. Sometimes this just puts the cursor closer to the edge, sometimes the cursor disappear outside the visible area. Further movement to the right sometimes brings the cursor into view, and sometimes looses it. Perhaps this is to be expected right now with the tables being worked on? Otherwise, I guess there is two conflicting ways of calculating a good sidescroll offset, that result in this jumping. Furthermore, one of these methods is wrong. Helge Hafting
