I agree but John's argument is about _acting_ like word too. And this is where I disagree.

Easily solved with the "one word per inset" approach or with the 3D
inset. But this is just "look", this doesn't remove anything and is
really not that important.

Look is everything, otherwise people would just use latex.

Feel is important too. The main reason why I don't want to use LateX is that I want simple things to be automatic like LyX is doing. Having non exact line wrapping is not such a big deal for me because I know it will be OK in the final paper. So, for me (yes, me, personal view), this is just sugar.
