There be no way to reach a consensus here. I propose that 1. apply the patch for 1.5.x and 1.6.x 2. add a 'ShowLabel' keyword to CharLayout definition. Because this involves lyx2lyx, it can only be done for 1.6.x. (This will have low priority, but I will do it before 1.6.0) What do you think? Bo
