Yes, I understood this is where you are heading, but I do not like it much.
This is because I always work in full screen mode. With Tabified
dockwidget this is even better because the dialog is a single click
away if already open.
I never work in full screen mode personally. Otherwise, I'd still be
using ms-dos.
When you have a low screen resolution, say <= 1080 x 768 which is still
quite common on laptops, running in full screen is not that stupid.
The advantage of dockwidgets is that you don't have to resize and
position them.
Anyway, a bit of tolerance for those that don't enjoy positioning
windows would be nice.
