The reason I didn't do this is that now CharStyle:Code is in the
logicalmkup module, so it isn't guaranteed to be available. I suppose
that's ok, in so far as it'll just be disabled otherwise,
but---honestly---I didn't realize getStatus() had been made so
discriminating. So yes, there's no reason it can't be so bound.
