A possible solution to the save/saveas problem might be linking .lyx and .lyz tightly and say 'save a bundled copy' instead of 'save in bundled format'. Then, .lyx will always be saved and .lyz will be saved if requested. This is also confusing because 'save as' might save two files, and the logic has to be changed if .lyz is opened directly. So, whoever proposes the use of a separate file extension has to give me a clear logic how to handle save and save as. Bo
