I need a little more information than your website seems to provide - simply to work out which was the latest version for Win95 ...
http://www.lyx.org/download/ says, under heading "Windows (9x/Me/2000/XP)", "Starting with LyX 1.3.6, the Windows platform is supported officially by the LyX team." Thus, I take it v1.3.6 was the earliest for Win95. The "Windows installer" link, there, leads to "LyX for Windows" (http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/Windows) which differs in saying, "Supported Windows versions: Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista." Thus, I take it v1.4.5-1 had forsaken Win95 compatibility. ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/ lists 6 intermediate versions with no clarifying documentation in their respective folders: * lyx-1.3.7_win32_setup_v2.exe * lyx-1.4.0-cygwin.tar.gz (CVS ?) * lyx-1.4.1_win32_setup_v1.exe * lyx-142-1.exe / lyx-142-1-bundle.exe * lyx-143-5.exe / lyx-143-5-bundle.exe * lyx-144-5.exe / lyx-144-5-bundle.exe Which, if any, should I pick for Win95 ?
