Richard (?) had an idea to insert all needed parts as a single layout file so maybe this is doable. Also, even if manual adjustment is needed, we can have it as an advanced feature. It is very nice to say 'Hey, this is the university thesis template, open it (on any machine with lyx installed) and add your stuff.'. Bo
