Well, I don't know. It's true that some people do read the manual, but
it's a sad program if you HAVE to read the manual to use it, and you
don't really have to read LyX's to use it. The basic functionality is
simple enough, and the UI is intelligible enough, that people can and do
use it without reading the manuals. Thank goodness.
As far as floatflt is concerned, that's a different matter. Hopefully,
wrapfig will solve it for us. But I wonder: Is there some general way
that "advanced" options or functionality could be marked as such? This
has also been raised in another thread. Perhaps just an asterisk or
something simple like that, as a warning: Don't use this if you don't
know what you're doing!
