Hi!

If the text inside insets (footnotes, notes) is an RTL paragraph, the text is painted to the left of the inset instead of inside it. Once the text is long enough so that the text inside the inset becomes multi-line, the painting is fine.

The problem exists regardless of whether the paragraph within which the inset is embedded is RTL or not (but it's much harder to see what's going on if the surrounding text is not RTL, because then the inset text overwrites the text which is to the left of the inset...!)

See the attached file for an example.

I'll have a look. I've tried hard to not break RTL during my cleanup but I obviously introduced some new bugs :-(

Abdel.

Good, I'm glad to hear that you're trying to stay aware of RTL :) . But given the amount of work you've been doing, in an area so close to the RTL stuff, bugs are bound to creep in, especially if you're not using the feature... So I'll try and be the watchdog for this, though for lack of time I'm afraid I won't be able to be much more help than just pointing out the bugs...
