Just to put this in the right context, the changes are quite deep "conceptually". I expect that we need some time to understand the depth of these changes. Note that now we can (as Richard remarked) insert the layout files in the lyx document. So there are some choices to be made as Bo stated today. As the C++ creator said in his talk (that I have cited recently) the problem is not the addition of new features to the language but the interaction between the different features.
