Hi, Rob

this sounds to me as if it's an xforms bug. I would say that though as I wrote
the citation dialog code! Does your window manager have a "Refresh Desktop"
option or similar? If you're using KDE then it certainly does. If you do, and
the problem is solved, then the bug lies actually in the window manager.
Anyway, a screenshot or two (sent directly to me, not to the list) might help
me track this one down.

Note that the citation dialog code has been completely rewritten very recently
(current CVS). It may be that things have been cured already. Suck it and see
first.

I'm running 1.1.6CVS/xforms-0.89 on a linux RH6.2 PC.

I've noticed that the resizing windows sometimes goes
wrong. One (or more edges) of the window are double
after the resize.

The problem is solved (= correct redraw):
 - sometimes by a slight resize of the window
 - otherwise by a Iconizing and De-Iconizing the window

On my PC this behaviour only occurs with lyx and
therefore I assume it's related to the lyx-code
or to bugs in xforms.

This bug is nasty, in the way that it sometimes occurs,
and other times it doesn't. Generally it seems to be
somehow related to how fast I do the resizing and this
is difficult to reproduce.

The citation-reference window suffers badly from this
bug and often this window is completely muddled up after
a resize.
Also the main lyx window shows this bug.

I wonder whether this is a known problem/bug.
