I think I'll just recompile lyx directly from the 1.5.x source using Qt 4.3.0. My concern is that this could happen to Joe Random User. Qt gets upgraded (admittedly a whole point release up) and lyx starts going wonky. Are there any checks and balances to guard against this scenario? Anand
