Hi!

I haven't been following the list too closely in the past few days, so I don't know if this has been reported yet:

There seem to be multiple problems with the painting of tables with multi-line cells.

To reproduce:

1) Create a table with, say, 2 columns and 3 rows
2) Set the width of each column to, say, 2in
3) start typing into the first cell, until the line wraps within the cell. The following problems appear:

a) When the cursor first wraps to the next line, it looks OK; but if you continue typing, the previous lines within the cell disappear, and only the current row is painted, until the next line wrap, when the problem repeats itself. b) when you leave the cell, it's entire contents are painted, but all across the line, not only within the cell. c) typing in any other cell more or less causes the same kind of problem as seen in (a), in all cells.

The dvi output is correct, so it looks like this is only as painting issue.

I'm not sure when the problem started, but I'm pretty sure it's only in the last few days (within the last ~100 revisions or so, I think). Maybe has to do with rowpainter or metrics changes that have been made recently?

Thanks!
Dov
