It's related, but I think the point is that it'd been easier to
discuss/review this mechanism separately - as a separate chunk.
Since I've been doing some work in a branch, as well, I'd appreciate
some advice on how to deal with it once it's to the point where I'm
ready to seek a merge.
We (me, Jose, Jean-Marc and Andre') have just discussed this. The main
points are as follows:
* Use one branch for a single purpose
* Update your branch with respect to trunk frequently
* Backport cosmetic changes first - that'll simplify your later diffs.
I'll write down some more detailed suggestions/recommendations in a later
post. Well, most likely in in wiki page, but you probably aready guessed
that...
