I sometimes do this, but to avoid adding an extra space to the document, I usually remove the space immediately. The funny thing is, lyx is very clever in that it does not regenerate the output in this case, even when the buffer is marked dirty. :-) I think a better solution is to include included listings etc to FileMonitor, just like what we do to Figures. Considering that the third suggestion is simply File->revert, this is the only one left. Maybe we can add something like view->regenerate preview. It is even better to toggle between view-> instant preview and re-generate preview when preview is enabled in this way. Cheers, Bo
