I can confirm this problem under windows, but not under linux. It might be a zlib windows packaging problem or a boost::iostreams bug, who knows. But this is a serious bug that will lead to immediate data loss. JMarc, could you please remove the windows installers from ftp.lyx.org? Joost, could you build 1.5.0 windows installers without Compressed menu entry? We will need some time to investigate this problem, but 1.5.0/windows can not be released like this. Cheers, Bo
