GE = proprietary, never heard of the others. glxgears: 250 FPS in default small window, 53 FPS full-screen. Noticeable intermittent jerkiness. I don't know if that's right or not but I gather it's supposed to happily sync to the vertical refresh considering how simple it is. > > We really have two problems here.
