I really enjoyed the new 1.5 release. The wait was well worth it!
However, I have run into some old and new glitches, so expect a few
emails about my experience with 1.5.

I have several versions of Latex installed, so I was trying to set the
"path" correctly into LyX's preferences.
I learned to run the executable /Applications/LyX.app/Contents/MacOS/lyx
from the command line to see the reconfigure output. However, I had
trouble because it does not show which latex executable/path is being used.
-> It would be helpful to display the path to the latex binary during
reconfigure.
-> It would be helpful to display the reconfigure output while using the
GUI, without having to run LyX via the command line.
