I would love that but I'm currently without income owing to my thesis not being written yet :) I suspect it is related to the size of the document. Profiling on my thesis would be a good idea I'm sure, but I have to find the time... Unfortunately in cases like this the user isn't keen to publish their document for the mailing list either :) Shouldn't we have a suite of test documents? Such as generating a really big LyX file using for loops to populate the paragraphs, or including heaps of floats, insets, etc. Have fun, Darren
