That is what we have been doing for this type of code cleanup for all other
file formats that are not enhancements.
And I agree with Martin, what you (Dov) are proposing is a file format
change.

Okay, I hope to clean the patch itself (for 1820) up tonight, once it is
stable we'll have to see how to go about the lyx2lyx for it.
What about the reversed numbers in arabic_arabi --- is that also a
format change? If so, it should also be fixed now, before 1.5.0. It
should be really easy --- it's already being done for farsi, just need
to do the same thing again for arabic_arabi.
