When you select "input file" from the pull down, and choose to browse,
thedefault pattern is *.tex. But if you choose to input a LaTeX file, you get
a bunch of errors on viewing postscript (because of all the stuff preceding the
\begin{document} in the LaTeX file).
Shouldn't the default browsing pattern be *.lyx? This would help to keep the
LaTeX details in the background.
