I want to be able to guess in advance whether the thing is going to work or not.
My patch fixes 3877 and middle-button paste works, let us just say, 90% of the times. I expect that other 10% cases can be discovered and fixed easily (just a few missing saveSelection calls). If this solution is conceptually sound, I see no reason why we should disable the feature altogether. After all, there are bugs in other features and we still decided to live with them and release 1.5.0. I will merge Abdel's insetTabular and window switch cases only after mine is committed, with another OK. Cheers, Bo
