Here, I select from firefox/gmail a long piece of code, paste to gnome-multi-terminal, and only about 1/3 is pasted.
I'd prefer (if possible) 4. Do 1. for now and fix the bug properly as soon as possible.
There is actually a proper solution: copy selection to a buffer only when the selection is cleared, and paste from an active selection when a selection is active. In this way, consecutive text selection will be saved only once. If you agree with this solution, I will see if there is an easy implementation. Otherwise, I propose that we replace Abdel's fix with this 10 paragraph limit and postpone 3877 to 1.5.1. IMHO, disabling this feature because 3877 does not make sense. Bo
