There was a bug in 0.88 where resetting the selection would later kill
the xforms app (sorry I cannot remember the details). It has been
fixed (in 0.89?) after I reported it to TC.
BTW, has anybody tested new version 0.89.6? I cannot do that myself,
but it would be nice to have an idea on this.
