If the cursor is inside the table, then you're setting paragraph settings
for the cell the cursor is in. This is not allowed, as tables
has per-column alignment settings, not per-cell settings.
Place the cursor outside the table, but in the paragraph
containing the table. (Typically right next to the table)
Then you can change paragraph settings and have the entire
table centered.
