resizeable windows?

Hi,

I'm running LyX 1.1.6CVS on a Linux (RH6.2) PC.

Some windows seem to be resizeable, while others are not.
This appears strange to me. For example:

The window for inserting cross-references is resizeable.
The window for inserting citation-references is not (which
    is a problem when wanting a better view of long ref-id's)

Can I change this behaviour by setting compile options
or is it a matter of replacing xforms support by something
better in the future?
