if there is going to be a fileformat change afterall, then it would be

Am I missing anything? I do not see any lyx2lyx part in your patch...

and unfortunately i don't speak a word of python, but it was decided
that there wouldn't be a file format change before 1.5 anymore.
since there now seems to be one afterall i was hoping that this could go
in (with a little help from a python guru) since this is a glaring
omission in our table support
i have been using this for the last couple of weeks with no problems
whatsoever
BTW, I have no opinion on whether or not your patch should go in. I
have wasted too much time in pushing my patches in and it seems wiser
just let Jose make the decision. :-)
