Hi all,

Since we ran out of beer, we can not work.

Instead we wrote a script to make random changes to the source code, and
we were lucky to find a bug in the paste code.
This affects 1.1.5, and the fix is easy. It will be committed soon, but
until then you can work around most of the problems this way:

- After you paste multi-paragraph selections, be sure to move the cursor!

This work around only works for 1.1.5 non-cvs versions. The cvs versions will abort
with an assertion about wrong cursor position.

The fix will probably be included in a 1.1.5fix1 release at some time in the
future.

Other news:
Since we get lucky with the random change script, we have in fact "implemented"
quite a few useless changes. You know, if a change does not introduce a new bug,
it most be a good change.
Therefore, we have touched most of the core files in LyX in the last few days
rather intensively, and you should be warned that you will likely get
conflicts if you do mayor surgery at this point.

We will try to commit the changes soon, but since it is a random changer
script, it might take some time for us to understand the changes
and write the proper ChangeLog entries. Alternatively, we have to get
lucky again.

Cheers,

Asger on behalf of the drunk quintet with a dangerous random script.
P.S. Obviously, the script itself is a random product.
