Lean

I heard of agile, but what's lean?
Isn't agile means we should port the whole thing to python/ruby? :0)

and Agile development says that you should only create
documentation that there is a real need for. Documenting for its own
sake is just waste.

I kind of agree with that, but look what's happenning now.
JMarc needs to understand the flow of the cursorX function - the man
who did it is gone, there's no documentation and we have to read
through the code to get it.
Some new programmer wants to donate code, he needs to understand the
code flow of the program. He don't have proper way to do it. He's
driving the list crazy by repititively sending inquiries for
documentation.
I'm not saying every bit must be documented, but if we want code
donations - we absolutely must describe the general codeflow in a
human readable format.
